Continuing the Release streak from 2020, NBA YoungBoy is dropping yet another solo, “Toxic Punk.” The all-new song comes just months after he is gifted with his seventh child, Kentrell Gaulden Jr., born back in January.
The Astonishing track varies from previous tracks as the Baton Rouge artist falls towards a pop-rock inspired melody in this newest heartwarming track. Fans can vibe with YoungBoy expressing his upset and stress about a failed relationship. He goes on to mirror the events happening around him, but nothing else seems to affect his mind more than the feeling of being cheated.
It looks like the YoungBoy has been busy lately, despite the birth of his children. He had only shared his newest mixtape Until I Return in November. In the same month, YoungBoy released a collaboration with Rich The Kid titled Nobody Safe. By December 2020, he released three additional singles, “Blow Yo’ Rocket,” “How I Been,” and “It Ain’t Over.” Having just declaring “Toxic Punk” this month, this is probably the longest YoungBoy has gone without dropping a new track or album.
