Wood Wood has been busy lately gearing up for the launch of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection and a partnership with FILA, Danish’s label Wood Wood has released its Fall/Winter 2021 selection. Revealed during this season’s online Copenhagen Fashion Week, the capsule was displayed through a movie in collaboration with director Fenar Ahmad entitled Rendezvous.
Reporting the collection and film, Wood Wood co-founder and creative director Karl-Oskar Olsen said, “We wanted to present a cinematic universe, reflecting on the now, where uncertainty is overruled by instinct. The concept reflects upon Wood Wood almost twenty years after our founding, and it can be described as the first rendezvous with the future version of Wood Wood.”
The capsule itself frames on themes from the SS21 collection, with break-out features including the use of finely detailed jacquard patterns, wool suiting, and plus-sized silhouettes. Other highlights from the collection see iconic items such as varsity jackets and collegiate-inspired sweatshirts reworked by Wood Wood.
The full capsule featured in the film will be released later this year on the Wood Wood web store.
