Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Temporary Residency is all set to head towards a trip to Beverly Hills.
Completing the World Tour with stops in Shanghai, Tokyo, and Miami, The pop-up event is expected to hit the Rodeo Drive by making its west coast debut this weekend. The residency will feature the label’s Spring/Summer 2021 menswear collection crafted by Virgil Abloh and include many AR experiences.
Basically, The LV’s Menswear collection works on four upcycling methods: New Looks upgraded from recycled material, recreated looks from the FW20 collection, pieces that were designed with recycled material during pandemic and lockdown, and new looks created based on existing ideas.
Adding to the list of browsing and shopping, LV’s latest menswear articles, attendees will be able to scan QR codes that’ll permit them to contact the Zoooomies, a group of animated characters Abloh designed during Paris Fashion Week in June. The codes will be shelved on the pop-up’s exterior; Once they’re scanned, a Snapchat filter exclusively for the event will be activated, and the animated characters will ask the shoppers to enter.
The event will be set-up at 468 N Rodeo Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90210, and will open the public doors from Feb. 6 till the end of February.
