Following the Twitter handle suspension of former U.S. President Donald Trump on January 9, it has just been confirmed that Trump has been suspended from the platform permanently.
As Mashable reported, The billionaire turned president will be banned from Tweeting even if he decided to run for President ever again.
Notably, Trump has always been seen Tweeting controversial tweets that had the capability to erupt violence. At his peak, Trump had a massive influence on the platform with 88 million followers, with over 57,000 tweets made by him.
After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.https://t.co/CBpE1I6j8Y
