BlizzCon 2021 has commenced on a high note with a long list of impressive news for fans. Renamed BlizzConline 2021 due to this Online-mode gaming, the keynote received a roar of excitement with the declaration of ‘Diablo II’ Resurrected a remastered version of the iconic Blizzard game from 2000.
Much like Starcraft’s remastering: Brood Wars, graphics can be traded at the push of the button to compare now from old, and gameplay will be similar to the original. The exciting news does not stop there. It was also announced that Diablo II Resurrected will be made available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One. All versions will share cross-progression.
Apart from the Diablo II remaster revelation, other hyped news came in the form of a new look at the Rogue class for Diablo IV, a World of Warcraft Classic Burning Crusade announcement, Overwatch 2 updates, Hearthstone Deep Dive matches, and even a special StarCraft “Legends” treat seeing matches by legendary SC players like Mvp, Rain, effort, and NesTea, to name a few, with all games cast by OGs Artosis.
