Is Terminator’s Anime version dropping on Netflix?

Netflix has officially announced that they’ll bring their own take on Terminator in an anime series form.

The streaming platform is teaming up with anime studio Production I.G, responsible for Ghost in the Shell. This project will be headed by Matt Tomlin, who wrote Netflix’s superhero show Project Power, working side by side with the Japanese studio. There isn’t a clear direction of the timeline this series will be based on, but we can expect it to be an action-packed series. On the occasion of the announcement, Tomlin expressed his excitement by stating, “I’m honored that Netflix and Skydance have allowed me to approach Terminator in a way that breaks conventions, subverts expectations, and has real guts.”

Production company Skydance, who has acquired the Terminator’s rights, will be co-producing with the anime studio.
