Is Facebook Launching a Rap Freestyle Platform?

Facebook has launched an exclusive platform for all aspiring rappers, ‘BARS.’ The brand-new platform allows users to record short clips of themselves rapping and freestyling over pop beats.

Like TikTok, each video will be capped at 60 seconds. Once users finish the recording session, they can share their verses throughout different social media sites. Users who come across freestyles they like can respond with fire emojis.

According to some sources, the app is still in its initial days and doesn’t seem to be entirely automatic. There isn’t a pause button, and it isn’t easy to figure out how to follow favorite rappers. However, the app is still in the development phase, and all the bugs are expected to be fixed once Facebook decides to launch the app officially.

Stay tuned for further updates regarding the launching date of the Platform.
