Lil Baby’s hit single ‘My Turn’ just turned one on February 28, and what better way to celebrate the anniversary after being rewarded with a Triple Platinum Plaque for the album.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed that the Album had sold three million units by February 28, exactly a year after the Album’s original release. My Turn sold its first 500,000 units and went Gold in just a month from its release, then sold one million units and went platinum in May and sold two million units to go double platinum in September.
The album mark’s the second studio album of the Atlanta-based rapper and features appearances from Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, DJ Paul, Hit-Boy Murda Beatz, Tay Keith, Wheezy, and more. My Turn marked Lil Baby’s first album to go platinum and coincidentally also became the first album of the year 2020 to achieve this feat.
