Katy Perry, Post Malone, J. Balvin and more coming together for ‘Pokémon 25: The Album’ Compilation?

Gaming giant Pokemon International has revealed a collab with Universal Music Group for the P25 Music program and a year-end collaborative compilation, Pokémon 25: The Album, with some of the Industry greats Post Malone, J. Balvin, Katy Perry, etc.

Three artists will likely spend 2021 cooperating and engaging in surprise activations that balance the music artists with the Pokémon brand. Malone is recently associated with Pokemon by dropping the cover of “Only Wanna Be With You” for its 25th anniversary. At the same time, Katy, Balvin, and one more surprise artist will each release a track that matches the brand of Pokémon.

“Pokémon is pulling out all the stops for P25 Music, and I’m thrilled to join the program as one of its premier collaborators,” Balvin, the newest addition to the lineup, said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to adding my own unique flavor to this huge Pokémon party and adding more good vibes to the celebration.”

Pokémon 25: The Album is slated to release at the end of 2021 and will feature 14 tracks from 11 different artists representing Universal Music Group. We’ll keep you updated on new releases and the official release date of Pokemon 25: Album.
