Ellen DeGeneres has signed a deal with Discovery Channel and Discovery Plus to create natural history content that focuses on the natural world and the wildlife that inhabits it. The first documentary under this project will air on Discovery Plus on April 22 (Earth Day).
Ellen is set to be the executive producer and narrator for the first project named ‘Endangered’; a documentary from BBC Natural History Unit and Discovery. This documentary is dedicated to pursue the efforts of wildlife conservationists across the globe. More series and documentaries on the natural world and wildlife is in line.
The wildlife conservationists are working towards compiling the latest version of The Red List. Also known as the IUCN Red List or Red Data Book, The Red List was founded in 1964. It evaluates the extinction risk of thousands eof species all over the world based on certain criterias.
